
Andrew is a regular writer and speaker on work and workplace matters and places the issues of work and place within a new strategic context.
He is managing director of Advanced Workplace Associates the multi-disciplinary management consultancy he co-founded in 1991. The company was formed following his leadership of a major research programme sponsored by eight major European companies in 1990. This explored the dynamics of the future and the role the workplace could play in supporting companies in their needs for strategic flexibility.
Andrew has an honours degree in Applied Statistics and and 10 years' experience within the IT industry in a number of strategic management positions. His consulting work focuses on helping business leaders see and realise new visions for work and workplace. His strength is the ability to operate at a number of levels and disciplines to assist companies in seeing AWA's workplace vision.

Andrew ran the London Marathon in 3 hours 46 mins in 1987 and was a member of the British Polytechnics national tennis team in 1975.
