The Tabs system utilises a central SQL database securely containing all data, ensuring a single information source for users and reducing possible data duplication. This in turn helps increase productivity and maximises the efficiency of the information system.

There are three methods of accessing and managing the data. Each method offers its own distinct benefits, from its window into your operations.

The core Management Information System is primarily used by Managers, Project Leaders and Administrators. This usage is not restricted and may be used by Support Staff, Engineers and Reception etc. The core system is the central hub of Tabs and its deployment and access levels are within your control.

Tabs reports, together with our Digital Dashboard, will allow detailed and specific analysis, giving feedback on all areas of your business, thus aiding forward planning, cost control and performance.

Portable Appliance Testing

All information obtained by our PAT testing team can be easily uploaded into your Tabs system. This will update your Asset Registry, Location Registry and PAT testing records.

We are able to work flexible hours to fit with your staff schedule, thereby adding a valuable service to your Heath and Safety Department.

 

Asset Tracking

To complement our Asset Tracking module we provide an Asset Tracking service. This updates your Asset Registry, location registry within each property and property details.

Our teams provide asset tracking and auditing using Tabs for Pocket PC. We provide barcodes in any form, numeric sequence, and with any logo. We can audit multiple sites, or perhaps specific equipment on one site, capturing information in your preferred format and downloading data into your Tabs system

Once you have chosen Tabs FM Ltd. as your partner, our work really begins.

It is important for our clients to draw on every facet of our software. This means fully understanding your business objectives and setting up an appropriate cluster of Tabs Modules to meet those objectives.

Initial training with key staff commences with a full Training Needs Analysis. Our Project Manager will provide a needs document for your completion before planning resources and system training. We will then agree on group and individual requirements, timescale and venue.

We appreciate that everyone learns in different ways and will try to make our training varied, appropriate and interesting. We will check and test for competency, measured against agreed objectives.

From our experience, it makes sound sense to structure follow up training a few weeks after going live with Tabs. This review procedure will help consolidate initial training and give a greater depth of understanding with real, concrete experiences to work from.

We have training facilities at our Woolwich Arsenal offices and frequently host training events here. Sometimes, detachment from the usual working environment can create more focus, without the distractions of every day tasks and routine.
